Nail Your Nurse Clinics

Taking place in Milton Keynes on Wednesday October 18th, this one-day CPD course will provide you with a consulting model to follow, to help ensure you cover everything you need to in an effective manner. The presentations will clarify exactly what RVNs can and can’t legally do and consider some of the ‘grey areas’ that we regularly face in real-life veterinary practice and how we can navigate those, as well as getting you thinking about all the opportunities for nurse clinics and how the professional services that veterinary nurses provide in our practices can reasonably be charged for. Sponsored by Hills, some content will be dedicated to how veterinary nurses can use nutrition within their clinics and there’ll be advice about how to run effective weight management consults. And recognising that all the pets we see in our practices are brought in by owners / carers, there will be advice and guidance about how we can best communicate with our clients to help deliver the care that the animals need, with tips for managing awkward conversations if difficult situations arise.

Running from 9.30am to 4.30pm, the course delivers 7 hours of quality CPD.  Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, including a hot buffet lunch.
