Becoming Reception Team Leader: What do I need to know?

This course is relevant to anyone who wishes, or has been asked, to become the team leader of their front of house team. This can be exciting but daunting – but we know you can do it!

However, you do need to know a few things to make sure that you get off to a good start, as managing all the things that you need to think about, organise, and do whilst still serving clients and running around after the vets can be tricky. Such things include rotas, managing the diaries on the practice management system, being on top of IT, client communication, literature, resolving the cashing-up issues – and not least having to manage your colleagues with whom you used to be ‘one of them’.
