Please can you explain the changes to me again in a nutshell?
Colourful CPD’s Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award was historically undertaken over 3 levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold.
- The Bronze level will soon be called Core Standards in Veterinary Client Care.
- The Silver level will soon be called Certificate in Veterinary Client Care: CertNCS (VCC). You are entitled to to use the post-nominals CertNCS(VCC) upon completion of this level and you will automatically become a Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor (RVCCA).
- The Gold level will soon be called Diploma in Veterinary Client Care: DipNCS (VCC). You are entitled to to use the post-nominals DipNCS(VCC) upon completion of this level, as well as the post-nominals RVCCA as you will already be a Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor from completing the CertNCS(VCC).
Please be aware that Colourful CPD are in the process of making the above upgrades, which we aim to be live by 1st June 2023. We appreciate your patience while we make these changes.
Why the changes?
These changes have been made to satisfy the evolving expectations regarding the standards and accreditation of education expected by CCA’s and their employers. Brian Faulkner, FRCVS, the Founder of Colourful CPD created the Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award in 2017 when there wasn’t a well-recognised, respected, and affordable qualification for veterinary Client Care Advisors. This course has been undertaken by more than 10,000 participants in over 20 countries around the world.
Colourful CPD felt it was appropriate to build upon the success of the Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award and turn it into a Triple-A Credibility Rated course which assesses and accredits the credibility of 1) the Author, 2) the Accreditation process, 3) the track record of the course’s approval ratings.
This accreditation process has enabled the creation of the CertNCS(VCC) and DipNCS(VCC).
